High Goal Luxury Gin

High Goal Luxury Gin was co-founded by American polo player Nic Roldan, who fell for gin while playing the sport in the UK, and is produced by Grain & Barrel Spirits in Charleston, South Carolina. Built on a corn-based spirit and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), it uses Meyer lemon and Kentucky mint as its signature botanicals alongside juniper, coriander and cardamom.

Drinkhacker gave it a B+, noting that the juniper "definitely takes a back seat" to bright citrus, with lemon, wintergreen, coriander, powdered sugar and peppermint bark on the palate; the reviewer likened it to a bottled Lemon Drop, which tells you exactly who this bottle is for. It is an easygoing, citrus-and-mint gin that shines in a Tom Collins, a lemonade spritz or a gin and soda, and it makes a convincing entry point for anyone who thinks they do not like gin.
